Our classic ponchos are a great light cover up. The Ethiopian eri silk is spun on the drop spindles by women artisans. The thread is then dyed in small batches using natural dyes. The Maret poncho in Slate is created by using iron filings to dye the thread. Each poncho is truely unique as the colouring and texture will vary, depending on the artisan who created it.
Tedy earrings are crafted with seven beads. They are made from recycled metals, including artillery shells found in the fields of former conflicts. The Entoto Mountain project employs local women who may struggle to find employment elsewhere. These women skilfully create beautiful jewellery in a loving, community environment. Handmade, fairtrade, fabulous design.
