Carefully handwoven by women from the Ukambani region of Eastern Kenya, this shoulder bag has been constructed from sisal fibre and ethically sourced leather. It can take up to a week to meticulously craft this piece.

About the Maker
Our baskets are hand woven by rural women in Kenya. Many of the women are subsistence farmers who use weaving to contribute to their income in dryer periods. The materials used are relatively drought tolerant and suited to the arid regions where the women live. It can take up to a week to weave each basket.
