The Hamlin Shop is delighted to announce the arrival of our very own ethically made cotton shopping totes!

Our tote bags are made in Ethiopia by a verified supplier in Addis Ababa who operates using strong ethical business practices. Our CEO, Carolyn, dropped by recently to meet management and observed a happy team working in light, spacious conditions.

Our partner started as a knitting plant in 2004 and today does sewing, printing and finishing, utilising four generations of knowledge from Figli di Michelangelo Calamai (established 1878) which built a base in Addis Ababa.

The Hamlin tote is made of sturdy thick cotton fabric brightened by our bold teal logo. It is extremely roomy measuring 38 x 35 x 10 cm providing plenty of space for your groceries, books or anything you need to tote around.
