This soy wax lantern features a hollow centre to house a tealight candle (included). The tealight candle brightly illuminates the design and casts a rich, romantic glow. Your lantern remains intact while the tealight burns, and you can replace the tealight as needed. Each candle is carefully created by hand.

These lanterns by artisans in Swaziland, using the ancient technique of 'Millefiore' (thousand flowers), a method of decorating glass. Established in 1981, the Swazi Candles project provides an enjoyable and creative working environment, committed to sharing profits with workers.

Our fairtrade Swazi Candles are handmade in Eswatini using the age-old technique of Milleflore.
Each candle is carefully and individually created by hand and up to 85% of the raw materials are recycled.
This supplier is a member of the World Fair Trade Organization. The 200+ employees are included in all decision-making processes and provided with health care, insurance, food and travel allowances.
