This soy wax lantern features a hollow centre which houses a tealight candle. The candle brightly illuminates the design and casts a rich, romantic glow. Each candle is carefully created by hand.

These beautiful lanterns are made by artisans in Eswatini (formerly known as Swaziland), using the ancient technique of 'Millefiore' (thousand flowers), a method of decorating glass. Established in 1981, the Swazi Candles project provides an enjoyable and creative working environment, committed to sharing profits with workers.

We love a "win-win" at Catherine Hamlin Fistula Foundation. While we support the artisans in Eswatini as one of our valued suppliers, proceeds from the sale of these lanterns via our store will support the women of girls of Ethiopia who are treated at the Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital.
