Our Danakil Scarf is a beautifully soft lightweight silk and cotton blend, handwoven in Ethiopia using locally cultivated silk thread and Ethiopian cotton. Artisans hand pick mulberry silk threads to create this design. This scarf is dyed using local plants and herbs, the result a bold and vibrant pattern. Dr Catherine Hamlin once gifted Queen Elizabeth II one of our Danakil scarves!
