Hair Scrunchies Made with Love at Wenona School Sydney

Handmade with love by students at Wenona School in Sydney, Australia.

When Senior College students heard about the plight of Ethiopia's obstetric fistula sufferers, they were keen to do something to help. Together with their teacher Ms Catherine Minifie, the wonderful Wenona Girls volunteered their time and sewing expertise at lunchtimes to support Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia. Over the course of several weeks their girls made more than 500 scrunchies using fabric generously donated to them by the Wenona community.

Assorted colours and patterns, these beautiful scrunchies make everyday a good hair day.
