Skilful artisans in Ethiopia used a traditional loom to weave this scarf from locally cultivated mulberry silk thread and Ethiopian cotton. Hand-dyed using local plants and herbs in bright turquoise, sky blue, and jade green tones, and finished with fringe edging, it brings a touch of fun to any outfit.

Textiles are made for Hamlin in a workshop in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, employing 200+ artisans, many of them women.
Textiles are hand-made using cotton, linen and silk and techniques inspired by ancient weaving traditions. All dyes are made of local plants, herbs, and natural products.
Sisters Zanele and Stella run a jewellery project in Zimbabwe which helps women gain empowerment through employment.
Using their skills for colourful beadwork and ornamentation, these artisans create stunning necklaces reflecting the culture of the people of Southern Ndebele.
